Our Vision:
Empowering Communities Through Transformative Medical Education
Peer 2 Partner is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit patient and community advocacy group driven by a passionate and diverse team of physicians, scientists, students, and professionals committed to improving health and well-being for all. Our mission focuses on empowering individuals, particularly those in underserved and economically disadvantaged communities, with the knowledge and resources to make informed health decisions.
Peer 2 Partner is entirely volunteer driven. We are proud to be certified to award the Presidential Volunteer Service Award from the White House Council on Service and Civic Participation to our eligible volunteers aged 5 and up. Our volunteers are individuals who believe that they can partner with us to positively impact communities and inspire those around them to action for community well-being. As a result of our volunteer’s dedication, every dollar we raise is reinvested into advancing medical education, reducing health disparities, and promoting health equity both locally and globally. We believe that medical education is more than a tool—it is a transformative force that uplifts communities and creates lasting change.
Developing collaborations and building lasting partnerships lie at the core of what we do. Through meaningful engagement with Community Partners, Medical Education Partners, Global Health Partners, and Industry Partners, our volunteers develop innovative learning opportunities that bridge gaps in healthcare knowledge and empower communities. Our programs are specifically designed to reach underserved and underrepresented populations, to address gaps and disparities in health care resources and understanding.
By working closely with local leaders, healthcare providers, and community organizations, we tackle pressing healthcare challenges within the community to build sustainable pathways to healthier, more resilient communities. Our strategic partnerships and hands-on outreach enable us to reduce health disparities, improve outcomes, and advance health education.
